Ruth Frasier

Ruth Frasier, 96, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 6:10 A.M. at Parkway Manor. Ruth was born August 27, 1914 in Richton, Mississippi the daughter of Jack & Lillie (Gunn) Rutledge. She married Murry Frasier on December 24, 1932 in Philadelphia, Mississippi and together they shared over 43 years of marriage until his death on February 13, 1976. She was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene of Marion and she had worked as a nurses assistant while living in LaGrange, Illinois. Ruth enjoyed fishing and loved her family. Survivors include; Two sons; Frank Frasier and wife Disa of Fernandina Beach, Florida Rick Frasier of Pittsfield, Illinois Daughter Jerry Karch and husband George of Benton, Kentucky Nine Grandchildren Sixteen Great Grandchildren Eight Great Great Grandchildren Sister Dorothy Reeves of Jackson, Mississippi Preceded by her Parents, Husband, Son Jack Frasier, Daughter Betty Kingston, Grandson Michael Frasier, Two Brothers Jack Rutledge, Denny Rutledge and Sister Virginia Frasier. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Bobbie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
