Johnston City- Ryan Mitchell Pike, 20, of Johnston City, died at 11:30 PM, Friday, October 21, 2011 at his home.
Ryan was born on January 30, 1991 in Herrin to Danny Keith & Brenda Gale (Ferguson) Pike. He was a Brewer Family Scholarship Recipient and a graduate of Auto/Diesel Mechanics School.
Ryan worked the past several months as an Auto/Diesel Mechanic for Jims Automotive and prior to that he worked at K&E Technical in West Frankfort.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors; hunting, camping and fishing, listening to music; like old time rock and roll and following the Joey Odum Project, and watching vintage TV shows and cartoons. Spending time with his beloved son Caden was what he enjoyed most. Ryan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mother- Brenda G. Pike of Johnston City
Sister- Jessica Pike and fianc Nick Ielase of West Frankfort
Maternal grandmother- Rosemary Ferguson of Sparta
Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins
He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents- William and Eva Pike, and maternal grandfather- William G. Ferguson.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Steve Malroy will officiate. A time of gathering will be from 3:00 PM until time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
