S. LeeAnn Craig

Goreville- S. LeeAnn Craig, age 55, of Goreville, passed away at 3:02pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Herrin Hospital. LeeAnn was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on August 24, 1953, the daughter of Russell L. and Helen A. (Rodely) Wheeles. She married Leonard Craig in Herrin on July 28, 1972. Together, they shared thirty-six years of marriage. He survives in Goreville. Mrs. Craig was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband- Leonard Craig of Goreville, IL Mother- Helen A. Wheeles of Herrin, IL Son- Monty and Sarah Craig of Johnston City, IL Son- Chad and Samantha Craig of Herrin, IL Three Grandchildren- Abigail, Michaela, and Connor Craig of Herrin, IL Father-in-law and Mother-in-law- Lloyd and Rosie Craig of Goreville, IL Sister-in-law- Karen and Al Suguitan of Edwardsville, IL Niece and nephew- Jonathan and Jessica Suguitan of Edwardsville, IL She was preceded in death by her father- Russell L. Wheeles, infant brother- David Wheeles, and infant sister- Paula K. Wheeles. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Richard Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Busby Cemetery in Goreville. Visitation will be held from 10-2pm on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
