Sadie R. Kelly

Herrin- SADIE R. KELLY, age 90, of Herrin, passed away at 12:40pm on Tuesday December 27, 2005 at Parkway Estates in Marion. Sadie was born on March 5, 1915 in Crenshaw Crossing, IL to the late William J. and Jessie (McCarthy) Rodney. She married Stephen Anthony Kelly on October 25, 1948 in Chester, IL. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1962. Survivors include- 3 sisters-in-law Elsie Rodney- Marion, IL Lela Rodney- Columbus, Ohio Helen Rodney- Grayling, MI 6 nieces and nephews Donald (Darlyn) Rodney- Marion, IL Edward (Joan) Rodney- Glen Carbon, IL Linda (Chad) Archa- Chandler, TX Joseph Rodney- Columbus, Ohio Mary Rodney- Boston, Massachusetts Robert (Becky) Rodney- Energy, IL Several great nieces and nephews Sadie was preceded in death by: Son- Donald Kelly 5 brothers- William, Eddie, Joseph, Tom & Robert Rodney Step-brother- Jim Rodney The family wishes to thank Penny Allen, Hospice of Southern Illinois and Parkway Estates for their care and concern during this time. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation to be held from 6-8pm on Thursday December 29, 2005 at Johnson- Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Private interment will take place on Friday December 30, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery in St Louis, MO.
