Herrin- SARAH FEARNLEY PURCELLIO, 88, of Herrin, passed away at 7:07 am on Wednesday May 18, 2005 at Herrin Hospital. Sarah was born in Weaver, IL on October 1, 1916 to Albert and Hannah Brown. She married Herman Purcellio in Herrin on October 19, 1937. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1996. Survivors include: 2 nephews- George A. Brown and his wife Dixie- Herrin, IL Ron Hart and his wife Carolyn- Indianapolis, IN Preceded in death by- Husband, parents 2 brothers- Harold and Horace Brown 1 sister- Edith Hart Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Friday May 20, 2005at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is handling arrangements. It was Sarahs request for no flowers to be sent.
