Sharon K. Hester

Marion Sharon K. Hester, 60, of Marion passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 3:50 A.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Sharon was born July 4, 1951 in Wickliffe, Kentucky the daughter of Jim and Betty Winchester. She married Robert Hester on January 19, 1982 in Herrin and in January they celebrated thirty years together. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include; Husband Robert Hester of Marion Two sisters; Gayla Smith and husband Charles of Atlanta, Illinois Vicki Hoffer of Herrin Aunt Clarise Chamness of Johnston City Several nieces and nephews Preceded by her Parents. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00am at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery in Cobden. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
