Sheila Kay Baseden

Sheila Kay Baseden, age 59, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at her home in Herrin, Illinois.

Sheila was born October 31, 1962 in Herrin, Illinois, a daughter of Johnny Gordon Hess and Phyllis (Jarvis) Gulley.

She is survived by three children, Jeremy Hess, Michael Hess, and April Holtz; three grandchildren, Austin Hess, Journey Banks, and Brennen Hess; her mother, Phyllis (Jarvis) Gulley; one sister, Dana (Gulley) Lantrip; and several close nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Gordon Hess; one brother, Steven Hess; and her infant granddaughter, Cheyenne.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 13th, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022, 1:00 PM at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin.
