Shirley Mae Lindsey

Marion- Shirley Mae Lindsey, age 81, of Marion, passed away at 1:23pm on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Shirley was born in Anna on October 25, 1937, the daughter of Charles and Pearl Dover. She married Floyd Lindsey in Anna on August 26, 1956. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1975. Survivors include- Son- Terry and Jessica Lindsey of Johnston City Son- Rodney Lindsey of Marion Daughter- Peggy Gourley of Herrin Son- Kenny Lindsey of Marion Six Grandchildren- Mike Lindsey of Marion Jeff Lindsey of Marion Sarah Lindsey of Marion James Valentine of Marion Timothy Lindsey, Jr. of Marion Michelle Greggs of Marion Great Grandchildren- Jordan, Madison, Talen, Stella, Zeller, Tyler, Nevaeh And Michila Sisters- Judy, Charlene, Linda, and Janet She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son- Timothy Lindsey, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Keith Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held from 11-1pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
