Shirley Reynolds Wagy, 73, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 4:25 A.M. at her home. Shirley was born February 14, 1936 in Troy, Tennessee the daughter of William and Clarabelle (Lintz) Owens. She married Lloyd Jim Reynolds in August, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1992. Later she married Roger Wagy and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a member of Coal Bank Spring Baptist Church. In addition to caring for her family she worked as a nurse at Herrin Hospital, Fountain Nursing Home and Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor, MI Shirley is survived by: Two sons; Jimmy Lee Reynolds and wife Rebecca of Stonefort William A. Reynolds and wife Dawn of Marion Three daughters; Deborah Kay Hogg and husband Rod of Stonefort Lisa Darlene Reynolds and husband Scott of Herrin Kerry Travelstead and husband Delmar of Carrier Mills Twelve grandchildren; Jimmy Reynolds, Jr. and wife Kim of Stonefort Charlee & Kaylee Reynolds of Stonefort Cassie Reynolds of Marion Michael Cullum, Jr. and wife Holly of Memphis, TN DeAnna Little and husband Rick of OFallon, IL Steven Moskop of Marion Billy Hayes and wife Lisa of Herrin Ryan Hayes and wife Kristen of Memphis, TN Jason Norris and wife Beth of Stonefort Dallas Travelstead and wife Jamie of Marion John Travelstead and wife Stephanie of Marion Twenty-two great grandchildren Two Sisters; Wilma Jackson of Hohenwald, TN Kitty Garavey of St. Louis, MO Several nieces and nephews Caregiver Penny Bracken of Marion The family wishes to express a special thank you to caregivers Debbie, Lisa, Teresa and Suzi Preceded by Parents, Husbands, Infant Son John Kevin Reynolds, Four Brothers and One Sister Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 1 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Coal Bank Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
