Shirley Yost

Shirley A. Yost, 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 8:49 A.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Shirley was born January 15, 1939 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Woodrow and Juanita (Williams) Cobb. She married Bobby Yost on August 15, 1958 in Johnston City and together they have shared over 53 years of marriage. She was a homemaker. In addition to her husband Bobby, she is survived by; Two Daughters; Kim Schroeder and husband Jeff of Marion Joanna Parker and husband Tim of Escondido, California Grandson Lee Schroeder and fianc Katie Walker of Herrin Preceded by her Parents. Graveside services will be Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. The service will be officiated by Rev. Shorty Alsip. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
