Stefen Hill

Herrin- STEFEN HILL, age 56, of Herrin, passed away at 5:28pm on Monday, May 14, 2007 at Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Stefen was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on October 7, 1950, the son of Murle Mack and Lily Pearl (Hale) Hill. Stefen was a truck driver for Pilot Express. He graduated from SEMO University with a degree in business. Stefen was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Stationed in Germany, he traveled Europe. When stationed in California, he earned his private pilots license. Survivors include his mother- Lily Pearl Hill of Herrin, IL 3 brothers- Loyd and Arlene Tipsword of Scott City, MO Dwayne and Wondra Hill of Ashland, VA Kenneth M. Hill and Cindy Pierce of Johnston City, IL 2 sisters- Arvella and Larry Hout of Taylor Ridge, IL Malissa and David Miller of Herrin, IL Stefen was preceded in death by his father- Murle Mack Hill and his brother- Murle Mack Hill, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 21, 2007 at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City, MO. Pastor Matt Crain will officiate. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin has been entrusted with arrangements.
