Stella J Colombo

Herrin- STELLA J. COLOMBO, age 82, of Herrin, passed away at 1:20pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Herrin Hospital. Stella was born in Frontier, Wyoming on March 2, 1930, the daughter of Robert D. and Katie Byars. She married Frank A. Colombo in Herrin. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1998. Mrs. Colombo was of Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. She was a homemaker Survivors include her son- Danny Colombo of Herrin She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister. As per her wishes, Mrs. Colombo will be cremated and there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro at a later date. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with final arrangements
