Stephen R. Mitchell

Stephen R. Mitchell, 55, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 6:53 P.M. at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home. Stephen was born July 10, 1956 in Marion the son of Richard and Margaret (Plauskey) Mitchell. He has worked as a coal miner and at Dillards in Receiving. He is survived by his; Three sisters; Debbie McKnight and husband Robert of Marion Lisa Violett and husband Kevin of Marion Jennifer Voyles of Marion Two nephews; Jerod Violett of Chicago Jacob Voyles of Marion Niece Megan Mitchell of Marion He is preceded in death by his Parents, Grandparents and Brother Tim Mitchell. Funeral services will be Monday June 18, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson and Rev. Robert McKnight officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
