Creal Springs Steven J. Rushing, 50, died Monday, January 26, 2004 at 6:45 P.M. in Heartland Regional Medical Center. Steve was born April 20, 1953 to John W. and Margaret (Powell) Rushing in Joliet. He married Wanda Davis on September 12, 1975 and she survives in Creal Springs. Steve worked for 26 years at Consolidated Coal and currently was working for Crisp Container. Steven was a member of UMWA and attended New Horizons Baptist Church in Marion. Bill Schell and Rev.John Hartkopf officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Wise Cemetery in New Burnside. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
