Sue Labotte

SUE LABOTTE, age 71, of Marion, passed away at 4:30pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at St Joes Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Sue was born in Harrisburg on March 7, 1941, the daughter of Eurie and Zena (Buckner) Bryan. She married Don Labotte in Marion on March 23, 1963. He survives in Marion. Mrs. Labotte was a member of the Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church. She had retired from Smalls Grocery Store. Survivors include her husband- Don Labotte of Marion, IL; Two daughters- Pam Newton and Kim (Bruce) Plumer of Marion, IL; Four grandchildren- Adam (Samantha) Cannon of St George Island, FL; Whitney Newton of Vienna, IL; Mallory Plumer of Marion, IL; Doug Plumer of Marion, IL; Two great grandchildren- Noah Cannon of St George Island, FL and Ryleigh Parkhurst of Vienna, IL; Sister- Dixie Pruitt of Marion, IL. Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Donnelson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church.
