Sue M. Feezor

Herrin- SUE M. FEEZOR, age 94, of Herrin, passed away at 11:34am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her home in Herrin.  Sue was born in NorrisCity on June 25, 1919, the daughter of Hayward and Ruby (Edmonds) Smith. She married James L. Feezor in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on July 7, 1940.  He preceded her in death on March 19, 1964.  Mrs. Feezor was a member of the First Christian Church in Herrin.  She had retired from her work in retail which included Zwicks Concept Two and Wal-Mart.  Survivors include two sons- Jimmie L. Feezor of Herrin      Reggie L. Feezor of Herrin Six grandchildren who proudly called her “Nana”- Roxann White of Creal Springs      Joie Steed of JohnstonCity      Lance Feezor of Cincinnati, Ohio      James and Amy Feezor of Marion      Cody Feezor of Herrin      Ebbe Feezor of Herrin Twelve Great Grandchildren Two sisters- Katie and Loyd Lindsey of Denver      Ruth Ann and Rod Phillips of Beaumont, Texas Three brothers- Hayward “Gene” Smith of Kankakee      Phillip and Sugar Smith of St. Peters, MO      Larry and Mary Smith of Chester Several Nieces and Nephews  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- James, son- Greg “Rocky” Feezor, two grandsons- Travis and Dusty Feezor, four sisters, and two brothers.  As per her wishes, she will be cremated.  Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.  Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with memorial arrangements.  For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Herrin First Christian Church.
