Teresa Michelle Fisher-Alsip

Teresa Michelle Fisher-Alsip, age 51, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her home in Marion, Illinois.

Teresa was born June 17, 1970 in Joiet, Illinois, a daughter of Bernard "Joe" and Donna  (Orr)  Fisher.  In second grade her family moved to Crab Orchard, IL.  She graduated Crab Orchard High School in 1988.  After graduation she worked as an Operator for GTE and later worked at a gas station in Main Street in Marion.  After her marriage she and her husband moved to Highland, IL and oversaw a campground.  She returned to Marion and enjoyed riding motorcycles, outdoor activities, camping, collecting rocks  and had a huge love for animals.   

She is survived by her husband Rick Alsip; mother, Donna F. Fisher (Friend Persey L. Bryan) of Marion, IL; two brothers, Paul D. Fisher of Marion, IL and Joe R. (Rhonda) Fisher of Creal Springs, IL; her nephew, Cody Fisher, niece Ashley Lenon, Great Nieces Leela Horn, and Layna Lenon, Great Nephew Gus Lenon, and her pet dog Seven.  She is preceded in death by her father, Bernard R. "Joe" Fisher and her nephew, Jared Fisher.

Memorial services will be held at 12pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant "Poordo" Free Will Baptist Church in Pittsburg. A time of visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the church. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Pleasant "Poordo" Cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
