Terry Lee Lindsey

Terry Lee Lindsey, age 65, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.    
Terry was born March 05, 1957 in Anna, Illinois, a son of Floyd and Shirley (Dover) Lindsey.  His family moved to Indiana and moved back to Marion, IL in 1975, when he graduated Marion High School.  He worked at Sears as an Auto Mechanic and attended John A. Logan College, graduating with an Associates Degree in Auto Repair.  He worked 35 years as a mechanic at several area shops.  He married  Jesscia R. Meneese on May 25, 2017.  Terry enjoyed fishing and working on cars.   

He is survived by his spouse Jesscia R. Lindsey of Marion, IL; two children, Sara L. (Loran) Robison of Herrin, IL, Michael B. Lindsey of Marion, IL, and a step child Dakota Hilt of Marion, IL; four grandchildren, Tyler Thetford, Nevaeh Thetford, Gordon Robison, and Jordan Lindsey; and two siblings, Kenneth Lindsey of Marion, IL and Peggy Gurley of Herrin, IL.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Shirley Lindsey and two brothers, Rodney Lindsey and Timothy Lindsey.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 20th, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Walnut Hill Freewill Baptist Church south of Crab Orchard.  Service will be held  at  the church at 12:00 PM with Rev. Keith Owens officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available and accepted the day of the service at the church.
