Terry Ranchino

Ferges - Terry L. Ranchino, 61, died at ll: 58 a. m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. He was born November l8, l939 in Herrin to Emilio "Quack" and Eva Ruth (Murphy). He married Norma Jean Campbell on January 6, l962 in Herrin. She survives. Mr. Ranchino was a miner for Consol Burning Star Mine #5 and then worked part time for the City of Herrin. He was a member of the Ferges Free Methodist Church, a member of the UMWA and a volunteer for the City of Herrin Fire Department. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Son and dtr in law - Kevin and Sara Ranchino - Herrin Dtr and son in law - Lori and Kevin Ferguson - Marion 3 grandchildren - Tyler Ferguson - Marion Amanda Ranchino - Herrin Kyle Ranchino - Herrin Brother and sister in law - Jerry and Sue Ranchino - Herrin Mother in law and stepfather in law - Beryl and Orval Howerton Niece and husband - Tammy and Bruce Sherrard - Herrin Great Nephew - Brady Sherrard - Herrin His parents and sister in law, Carlene Ranchino, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2001 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Hawkins will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2001 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery.
