Marion-Thelma R. Ridlen, 82, died 2:05 A.M., Friday, December 20, 2002 at the Enfield Health Care Center in Enfield, Illinois
Thelma was born May 19, 1920 at Stonefort, Illinois to Norman & Orphie (Horn) Turner. She first married Robert Schneider who preceded her in death. She later married Fred Ridlen on September 22, 1972 in Williamson County. Fred survives.
Thelma was retired, having worked in the meat department for many years at Macks Big Star in Marion. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church in Marion.

One Son: Leston Ridlen & wife Nelda of Marion
Three Grandchildren
Two Great Grandchildren
Two Brothers: Glenn Turner of Harrisburg, IL
Ray Turner & wife Earlene of Pittsburg, IL
Also several nieces & nephews survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and one brother, Lige Turner.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 23, 2002 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery for a time of visitation with the family. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be given to the Enfield Health Care Center. Memorial envelopes will be available at the service or at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
