Thomas Henry Phalp VIII

Thomas Henry Phalp VIII, age 80, of Creal Springs, Illinois, passed away at 4:15pm on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.

Thomas was born May 27, 1942 in Herrin, Illinois, a son of Mary (Furlong) and Thomas Henry Phalp VII. He married the love of his life, Jo Ann Penning on June 17, 1961 in Owosso, Michigan.

He is survived by his spouse Jo Ann (Penning) Phalp of Creal Springs, IL; one son, Brad (Katherine) Phalp; and two grandchildren, Kristen and Jordan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Furlong) and Thomas Henry Phalp VII.

As per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no public services. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
