Timothy James Clover II, age 27, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 5:28 a.m. in his home.
T.J. was born on January 3, 1993, in Carbondale, Illinois, the son of Timothy J. and Cindy K. (Hammonds) Clover. He worked as a driver for the Bill Doran Company. T.J. loved playing sports, having played baseball and football for Herrin Youth Sports and the Herrin Tigers. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan, but most importantly, T.J. was an amazing new daddy and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Tim and Cindy Clover of Herrin; his girlfriend, Drayah Hill of Herrin; his daughter, Chandler Makay Clover; sister, Amanda Clover of Herrin; paternal grandfather, Bernard (Debi) Clover of Killeen, Texas; his baby girl dog, Cassanova Bologna Clover; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Doddie Moore; maternal grandparents, Frank L. “Speedy” and Barbara A. Hammonds; his great-grandparents, Nan and Grandpa and Great-Grandma Essie; and his uncle, Terry Hammonds.
T.J. will be cremated and a private, family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with the arrangements.
For those who prefer, memorials may be made to his daughter, Chandler Makay Clover and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, 201 South 13th Street, Herrin, Illinois 62948.
