Herrin- Tina Gay (Miller) Pierce, 46, of Herrin, passed away at 5:08 PM, Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Herrin Hospital. She was born on October 12, 1965 in Carbondale to Glen N. and Barbara Joy (Timmons) Miller. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include- Mother- Barbara Miller of Herrin Daughter- Tiffany Elaine Pierce of Herrin Son- Travis Pierce of Herrin Sister- Vicki Miller of Herrin Friend that was like a daughter- Amber Loos of Marion Friends that were like sons- B.J. McGregory of Marion Brandon Scott Williams of Herrin Garon Owens of Herrin Aunt- Lora Timmons of Centralia Nieces- Angela Sneed of California Sumer Kane of Herrin Charsi Kane of Herrin Kayla Pierce of Johnston City Nephew- Tony Sneed of California Close family friend- Karen Bush Several other close friends She was preceded in death by her father, brother- Mike Kane and sister- Luanne McKnight. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Entombment will follow at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be from 11:00 Am until time of service, Friday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
