Marion Tommy Joe Wristen, 51, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 3:55 A.M. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Tommy was born June 17, 1953 to Jack and Frances (Buttrum) Wristen in Del Rio, Texas. He married Gwen Buckner on August 15, 2003 and she survives in Marion. Tommy was a truck driver. Survivors include: Wife Gwen Wristen of Marion, Mother Frances McDonald of Temple, OK, Son Erik Pritchett and wife Tiffany of Marion, Daughter Angie Pritchett and Shannon Gabby of Marion, Grandchildren: Lia Pritchett of Marion, Wyatt Gabby of Marion, Derik Pritchett of Marion, Mother-in-law Gene Buckner of Marion, Three sisters: Jackie & Mike Burleson of Oklahoma City, OK, Theresa Wristen of Crawfordsville, IN, Dixie & Gary Tondri of Temple, OK, Several nieces and nephews. Preceded by: Father, Sister Teddy Wristen, Step-Father Roy McDonald, Uncle Edward Buttrum. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Coal Bank Springs Cemetery with Pastor Gaylon Parks officiating. All family and friends are welcome to attend. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. For those who prefer memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
