Uline Hope

Uline Hope, 71, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 9:20 A.M. at St. Louis University Hospital. Uline was born January 24, 1939 in Marion the daughter of Obie & Helen (Motsinger) Utley in Marion. She married Jim Hope on November 29, 1968 in Shawneetown and together they have shared over 41 years of marriage. Uline was a homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her children and her family. In addition to her husband she is survived by; Four children; Shawn Hope of Creal Springs Shanea McReaken and husband Tod of Centralia Richard A. Hope and wife Debbie of Marion Joyce A. Hope and fiance David Vaughn of Marion Seven Grandchildren; Brad Hope Travis Hope Michael Eubanks Joshua Vaughn Austin Hope Ashlyn Hope Cole McReaken Mason McReaken Four Great Grandchildren Three Brothers; Steve Utley and wife Reba of Marion James Utley and wife Karen of Portage, Indiana Paul Utley and wife Judi of Changmui, Thailand Three Sisters; Jeanette Stanley of Marion Ruth Pate of Evansville, Indiana Mary Parrish of Marion Preceded by Parents, Four Brothers Don Utley, Obie Utley, Jr., John Robert Utley, Thomas Utley and Sister Betty Ortez. Funeral services will be Saturday July 31, 2010 at 2 P.M. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Burgard and Paul Utley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 to 8 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. On Saturday the casket will be taken to the church at 11 A.M. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Beulah Camp Fund, % Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois and at the Church on Saturday.
