Velma J. Coloni

Herrin- VELMA J. COLONI, age 76, of Herrin, passed away at 2:28pm on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro with her loving family at her side. Velma was born in Jackson County on March 11, 1933. She married Louis Coloni in Herrin on June 12, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1968. Mrs. Coloni was a religiously devoted woman and spent her life as a homemaker. Survivors include two sons- Logan and Julie Coloni of Dixon, IL Larry and Cindy Coloni of Forsyth, IL Daughter- Linda Abbott of Murphysboro, IL Six Grandchildren Five Great Grandchildren Sister- Earlene and Charles Freeman of Springfield, IL She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating.
