Herrin - Veronica H. Hostetler, 91, died at 9:07 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2002 at her residence.
She was born April 4, l910 in Mill Creek, Indiana to William and Ella Catherine (Stevenson) Quinn.
She married Allen C. Hostetler on Septermber 1, 1937 in LaPorte, Indiana. He died January 20, 2001.
She was an elementary school teacher in Millcreek Grade School and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic School in Herrin.
She was a member of OLMC and the American Red Cross and the Herrin Women's Club, Daughters of Isabella at OLMC, Delta Theta Tau Sorority and served
On the Herrin Teen Town Board of Directors. She enjoyed baking and loved her roses. She was a true Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed volunteer work throughout the community. She enjoyed sewing and loved to be with her family and she loved her church.
