Veta Fox

Veta A. Fox, 84, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 5 A.M. at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Veta was born August 6, 1925 in Creal Springs the daughter of John & Sarah (Dean) Fowler. She married Robert C. Fox on August 22, 1950 in Marion and together they shared over 58 years of marriage until his death on May 18, 2009. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include: Three Sons: Robert L. Fox and wife Nancy of Robinson, Illinois Allen Ray Fox and wife Betty of Marion Ronald D. Fox and wife Diana of Chatham, Illinois Two Grandchildren; Kevin Fox and wife Linda of Las Vegas, Nevada Ronda Craft and husband Allen of Carterville Two Great Grandchildren; Hannah & Lydia Craft of Carterville Preceded by her Parents, Three Sisters and One Brother. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
