Vicki Salvo

Herrin-Vicki L. Salvo, 52, of Herrin, died at 7:55 PM, Saturday, January 3, 2004 at her home. Vicki was born on July 2, 1951 in Herrin to Angelo & Hester (Brandon) Salvo. She was Administrator of Investigations for the Marion Police Dept. She also served as union steward for the International Laborers Union of North America #577 and was an auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Vicki was of Methodist faith. She was loved by her daughter and her dear friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. SURVIVORS: Daughter- Brandy Williams & fianc Rick Flood- Herrin Mother- Hester Salvo- Herrin One Granddaughter, who was the pride & joy of her Nana- Stevie-Rae Williams- Herrin Sister & bro in law- Angela & John Smith- Herrin Niece- Nicole & husband Karl Gusentine- Herrin Niece- Amy & husband Stephen Flowers- Zeigler Great Nieces: Brittany & Karly Gusentine- Herrin The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Ralph Brandon will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the funeral home.
