Vinnie June Murphy

Vinnie June Murphy, 67 passed away at home on Thursday, Sept 15, 2011 and joined her Lord and Savior. She was born on June 19, 1944 in Creal Springs, IL, the daughter of Melvin and Cora Murphy. Vinnie is survived by her long time companion, Richard Hall of Marion; a daughter, Kendra Bearden Chamness; a son, Jimmy Lee Reynolds, Jr and wife, Kim; stepdaughters, Jamie Brown and husband, Dennis; Jodi Robinson and husband Brad; stepson, Justin Hall and wife Whitney; grandchildren, Alexis Hankey and husband, Scott; Megan Chamness; Garrett and MiKyla Reynolds; Corey, Hannah, and Logan Brown; Burke and Emily Robinson; and all; great-grandchildren Cameron and Brayden Hankey. - She was proceeded in death by her parents; brothers, Orville Murphy and wife, Eileen; Jerry Lee Murphy and Lowell Tuffy Murphy. Vinnie was very successful during her many years for Combined Insurance but ultimately retired from Banner Finance after 12 years of service where again, she excelled in her position and made many lasting friendships. She loved to cook, travel and spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Vinnie is now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Jennings officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Following the services Vinnie's wish was to be cremated.
