Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home Full Obituary Marion- VIOLA C. COX, age 82, of Marion, passed away at 6:20pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Marion. Viola was born in Williamson County on July 25, 1925, the daughter of William and Katie (Hendtleman) Issler. She married James Cox in Harrisburg on July 23, 1950. She passed away on their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary. Viola was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Marion. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her step-daughter- Kyle Bird of Herrin, IL One brother- Fred Issler of Harrisburg, IL Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother- Leon Issler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Linda Coulson officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion.
