Virginia Moore

Marion Virginia L. Dorothy Moore, 85, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 12:50 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Virginia was born July 4, 1924. Her parents were Edward & Stella White. She married Loren Moore on September 6, 1941 in Missouri and together they have been blessed with over 68 years of marriage. He survives in Marion. She was a homemaker and for over 75 years she has been a member of the 3rd Baptist Church in Marion. In addition to her husband, Virginia is survived by: Four children; Ralph E. Moore and wife Alice of Marion Ramona K. Scholes and husband Ted of Marion Barbara L. Moore of Marion Russell W. Moore and wife Kim of Marion Grandchildren; Racheal Bernardoni Sara Jo Moore Chelsie Moore Rachel Scholes Kristin Moore Travis Scholes Angela McRoy Amanda Meadows Three great grandchildren Tyler Bernardoni Cody McRoy Tiffany McRoy One Brother and One Sister Preceded by; Parents, two infant sons Loren & LaVerne Moore, two sisters Funeral services will be Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11 A.M. at 3rd Baptist Church in Marion with Pastor Scott Kallem officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 8 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home and after 9 A.M. on Friday at the church. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the 3rd Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, P.O. Box 39, Marion, Illinois 62959 and on Friday at the church.
