Virginia L. Phillips, 82, of Marion passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 4:07 P.M. at Marion Rehab.
Virginia was born March 23, 1929 in Marion, Kentucky the daughter of Ivan and Bertha (Cannon) Paris. She married Gerald E. Phillips on January 22, 1947 in Galatia and together they shared over 50 years of marriage until his death on December 25, 1998.
She was a member of the Aldersgate Methodist Church for over 50 years. Virginia was a homemaker.

Preceded by her Parents, husband Gerald Phillips, brothers Gleaford Paris, Dutch Paris, Gaylord Paris and special son-in-law Michael J. Payne..
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ozment officiating. Burial will be in Dillingham Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
