Vivian L. Baker, 89, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 2:59 p.m. at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Vivian was born February 10, 1924 in Paulton, the daughter of Joseph L. and Edith Pearl (Ramsey) Baker.
She was a member of Marion Second Baptist Church, and Vivian retired from Marion Memorial Hospital after working 32 years in housekeeping.
Survivors include her; Sister – Jean Richison of West Frankfort, Aunt – Wanda Ramsey of Mt. Vernon, Nephew – Ronald P. Richison of Carterville, Niece – Paula Ball of West Frankfort, Niece – Carolyn Vachata and husband Elmer of Marion, Several great nieces and nephews. Preceded by her Parents, and Sister – Mildred Baker
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Danny Ward and Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Marion Second Baptist Church.
