Crab Orchard W.D. Jack Cox, 82, of Memphis, TN formerly of Crab Orchard, died June 4, 2008 at Memphis Baptist Hospital after suffering a stroke on May 23rd.
Jack was born September 5, 1925 in Marion the son of Roy and Mamie (Stahlhut) Cox. He married Helen Turner on September 8, 1945 and together they have shared over 62 years of marriage.
He was a retiree from both Standard Brands/Nabisco Brands and Kraft Foods, Inc.
He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN.

Great Granddaughters Arielle and Anaiah Cox of Gainesville, TX

Preceded by his Parents.
Funeral service and burial was held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, IL with Rev. Frankie Pierce officiating. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in the chapel of Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN, where he was a member, followed immediately by a reception for friends.
