Walter Franklin "Frank" Price

Walter Franklin “Frank” Price, 56, of Johnston City passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 1:30 A.M. at Benton Rehab. Frank was born August 13, 1956 in Marion the son of James Walter & Shirley Marie (Anis) Price.  He married Rebekah Leah “Becci” Groves on March 12, 1983 in Herrin and together they have shared over 30 years of marriage. He has worked as a CNA at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home for over 27 years.  Frank attended the Family Church of God in Zeigler.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and attending auto and dirt track races. Survivors include his; Wife – Rebekah “Becci” Price of Johnston City Daughter – Stephanie Allerding and husband Scott of Christopher Daughter – Sari Colp and her boyfriend Bobby Hudspeth of Johnston City Six Grandchildren;   Breanne Martin   Logan Hudspeth   Elisabeth Allerding   David Allerding   Betty Allerding   Brian Allerding Two Great Grandchildren;   Brianna Garrett   Mason Garrett And one on the way – Jase Ray Allerding Sister – Adora Mays of Marion Preceded in death by his Parents, Brother – Carl Price and Sister Tina Price. Funeral services will be Friday, June 28, 2013 at 3 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. J.K. Tiffin officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant – Poordo Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 1 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
