Wanda G. Crosson

Marion Wanda G. Crosson, 82, formerly of Creal Springs, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 7:25 A.M. at Carbondale Memorial Hospital. Wanda was born January 29, 1927 in Johnson County, IL the daughter of Otis & Lydia (Nolen) Milburn. She married Lindell Crosson on December 12, 1952 in Holly Springs, Mississippi and together they have shared over 56 years of marriage until his death on March 25, 2009. Wanda enjoyed gardening, sewing & cooking for her family. Survivors include: Son Gary Crosson and wife Kathy of Marion Daughter Paulette Crosson of Herrin Grandson Brandon Crosson of Marion Step-Granddaughter Heather Barnett of Marion Step-Granddaughter Rachel Warner and husband Wayne of North Carolina Step-Great Grandchild Riley Warner of North Carolina Brother- Lendell Milburn of Alabama Several nieces & nephews Preceded by Parents, husband, two brothers- Otis Milburn, Jr. & Alsey Milburn and one sister- Edna Dunn. The graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Simmons Cemetery, east of Creal Springs, with Rev. Shorty Alsip officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
