Wanda M. Howell

Herrin- Wanda M. Howell, 75, of Carterville, died at 10:20 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at Herrin Hospital. Wanda was born on March 29, 1927 in Blairsville to John & Carrie (Strunk) Hooker. She married Hershel Howell on January 28, 1950 in Piggott, Ark. He survives of Carterville. Mrs. Howell was a homemaker and a member of the Community of Faith Church. Vernon Sis & bro in law- Erma & Stan White- Springfield Sister- Henrietta Loyd- Clay Coma, MO Sister & bro in law- Brenda & Johnny Richmond- Herrin Several nieces, nephews, and cousins Her parents, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2002 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. The Revs. Jim Sumner & Todd Greiner will officiate. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2002 at the funeral home.
