Marion- WARREN CHARLES RILEY, age 90, of Marion, passed away at 11:15am on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Marion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Warren was born in Hurst on April 1, 1923, the son of Charlie and Lula Riley. He worked most of his life as a coal miner.

Brother- Theron and Sue Scott of Bush
He was preceded in death by his parents, son- Dennis Riley, brother- Tommy Scott, two sisters- Charlotte Shelby and Margie Wilson, and his granddaughter- Denna Strain.

As per Warren’s wishes, he will be cremated. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Miner’s Cemetery in Royalton with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with memorial arrangements.
