Wendell Dean Jordan

Herrin- Wendell Dean Jordan, age 61, of Herrin, passed away at 6:42am on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at his home in Herrin.  Wendell was born in Marion on February 27, 1954, the son of Billy and Delores (Tanner) Jordan.   Wendell enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family, including his beloved dog, Baby. He was an avid pool player, belonging to the APA Pool League.  Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law- Connie and Jason Licka of Buncombe Son- Jimmy Jordan of Herrin Son and Daughter-in-law- Wayne and Brittany Jordan of Herrin Thirteen Grandchildren- Brandon, Samantha, Adrianna, Miranda, Alexis, Brooklyn, Luke,                Abigail, Christian, Leah, Zoey, Micky, and Serenity Sister- Kimberly Jordan of Marion Four Step-Daughters Three Step-Sons Seventeen Step-Grandchildren Companion- Frances Reed of Herrin  Wendell was preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Coal Bank Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11-1pm on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.  For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
