WESLEY M. SIZEMORE Herrin - Wesley M. Sizemore, 78, passed away at 11:42 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Herrin Hospital. Mr. Sizemore was born October 19, 1923 in Herrin, IL to Albert M. and Daisy L. (Forbes) Sizemore. He retired from Maytag-Norge Company where he worked as a machinist and retired April 1, 1989 after 41 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Hallie Holmes Sizemore of Herrin, two daughters, Gloria Zimmer of Johnston City and Bonnie Sizemore of Herrin. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Tammie Roper, Dennis Warren, Brian Warren, Cassandra Seagle and Katherine Hill, six great grandchildren, Ashley Warren, Michael Warren, Kennadi Warren, Miranda Elders, Hershal Seagle and Payton Seagle. His parents, Albert M. and Daisy L. Sizemore, one brother Albert Sizemore, Jr. and one sister, Evelyn Sheffield preceded him in death. In accordance with his wishes his body was cremated. A celebration visitation and family and friend gathering will be at the Herrin Civic Center Galleria on Thursday, June 6 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a. m. on Friday, June 7, 2002 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, IL. Rev. Glenn Sanders will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Interment will be at Herrin City Cemetery where he will be laid to rest and we will say our final fair well to our most loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend until we meet again.
