Wilbur Weaver, 91, of Marion, formerly of Decatur, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 12:15 am at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Wilbur was born July 9, 1923 in North Chatham, New York the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Weaver. He married Mary Irene Coe on September 12, 1945 in St. Louis. Missouri and together they shared over 46 years of marriage until her death in January, 1992.
Wilbur proudly served his county in the Army during WWII. He was of the Methodist faith and was a retired security guard for Kane Services.

Daughter – Susan Carter of Marion
Daughter – Renee Daugs
Daughter-in-law – Mary Weaver of Orlando, Illinois
Five grandchildren
Five great grandchildren

Sister – Vivian Weaver of New York
Preceded by his Parents, Wife, Son – Phillip Weaver, Grandson – Phillip Weaver, Brothers – Al and Frank Weaver and Sisters – Lucy French, Josephine Newman and Katheryn Keefe.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 11 am – 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Military rites will be presented by members of the Marion VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and National Guard Flag Detail Team at 1 pm at the funeral home.
