Wilda Jean Litton

Wilda Jean Litton, 82, of Marion passed on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 5:46 P.M. at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home in Herrin. Jean was born August 22, 1929 in Herrin the daughter of Earl and Geneva (Harding) Kinley. She married Vernon J. Litton on June 20, 1948 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and together they shared over 46 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1994. She was a homemaker. Survivors include; Son Walter Litton and wife Shirleen of Herrin Daughter Deanna Jack and husband William of Goreville Daughter Kari Barry and husband Chuck of Olathe, Kansas Son Lance Litton of Marion Six Grandchildren; Brian Litton and wife Tarissa Shawn Jack and wife Tammy Darek Jack and wife Katrina Kira Braun and husband Jason Lisa Barry Kyle Barry Nine Great Grandchildren; Shaelinn & Caleb Litton Josiah, Rachel, Kaitlyn and Rebecca Jack Jocelyn Jack Ethan and Anna Claire Braun Three Sisters; Loretta Ward of Energy Jackie Barnes of Johnston City Earline Jones of St. Charles Brother Larry Kinley of Arizona Preceded by her Parents, Husband Vernon J. Litton, Great Grandson Matthias Braun and Brother Bud Kinley Funeral services will be Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Dale Grall officiating. Burial will follow in Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
