William A. Michaud

Herrin- WILLIAM ALFRED MICHAUD, age 71, of Herrin, passed away at 9:05am on Monday, May 4, 2009 at his residence in Herrin. William was born in Amesbury, MA on January 30, 1938, the son of Alfred Wilfred and Caddie (Hardison) Michaud. William was a member of the Herrin First Presbyterian Church and the Herrin American Legion. He was a retired Merchant Marine, having served in the United States Navy from 1958-1961 and the Yeoman storekeeper from 1978-1994. Survivors include- Sister and Brother-in-law- Janie and Andy Hargreave of Herrin, IL Sister and Brother-in-law-Margie and Howard T. Voorhees of Cary, NC Niece- Pam and Bruce Lukens of Herrin, IL Nephew- Andrew and Leigh Ann Hargreave III Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister- Mary McIntyre Private services will be held.
