WILLIAM T-BONE BOAZ, SR.
Marion William T-Bone Boaz Sr, 82, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 12:15 P.M. at his residence.
William was born December 24, 1920 to Aaron T. and Mamie (Bunker) Boaz in Karnak, Illinois. He married Myrtle M. Huff on July 16, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas, she survives in Marion.
William retired from the Air Force in 1970 with 22 years active duty and 8 years in the Reserves, a total of 30 years. He was a veteran of WWII and Vietnam. William was Commander of the VFW Post #1301 for two years and a life member. He was Mason 32nd degree and belonged to the Saline Lodge #339 of Goreville, a member of the Scottish Rites, Shriners and American Legion.

Vail Boaz of St. Petersburg, Florida
Two Sisters Ida Mae Pritchett of Romeoville, Illinois
Patsy Owens and husband Earl of Marshall, Indiana
Preceded by: Parents, two brothers, Aaron Boaz Jr., Calvin Boaz, and four sisters, Mildred Rae Boaz, Betty Lou Boaz, Edith Caroline Riley and Virginia Ropp.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 3rd at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Tex Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Cana Cemetery in Goreville with graveside military rites performed by V.F.W. Post #1301. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Masonic services at 7 P.M. by Saline Lodge #339.
