Wilma Evelyn Baker

Herrin- WILMA EVELYN BAKER, age 85, of Herrin, passed away at 2:15pm on Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Wilma was born in Jackson County, Illinois on December 7, 1926, the daughter of James and Helen (King) Morgan. She worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Baker was a member of West Monroe Apostolic Church in Herrin. Survivors include her son- Robert and Lulu Baker of Herrin Daughter- Wilma Leah Baker of Herrin Four Grandchildren- Christina and David Cook of Marion Robert Baker of Tamms Sherry Worley of Water Valley, Kentucky Jaquline Ridenour of Water Valley, Kentucky Great Granddaughter- Patricia Blades of Marion Three brothers- Fred and Cindy Morgan of Percy Raymond and Jane Morgan of Vandalia Wayne Dean and Pat Morgan of Willisville Sister- Barbara Gates of Winn, Arkansas Several nieces, nephews, and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister- Amanda Jane Segret, and one brother- James Morgan. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, September 17, 2012 at West Monroe Apostolic Church in Herrin with Rev. Terry Griffith officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the times of services on Monday at the church. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery.
