Winona B. Edmiston

Herrin- Winona B. Edmiston, 74, of Herrin, passed away at 10:16 AM, Friday, May 12, 2006 at Herrin Hospital. Winona was born on March 20, 1932 in Conway, AR to Wayne & Lilas (Turner) McLain. She married Thomas Keith Edmiston in 1965 in Hettick, IL. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1987. Mrs. Edmiston was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. SURVIVORS: Son & daughter in law- Daniel Lee & Sandra Mabry, Jr. - Herrin Son- Steven Wayne Mabry- Nulbista, AZ Son- Ronald Alan Mabry- Ft. Smith, AR Four Grandchildren Seven Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Ernie Nolen will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service, Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
