Carterville- Zachary Stephen Griffith, 25, of Carterville, formerly of Indiana, passed away at 11:01 AM, Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Herrin Hospital. Zachary was born on January 18, 1986 in Crown Point, IN to Robert H. & Christine (Dewar) Griffith. He enjoyed all things Superman and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include- Mother- Christine Marshall of Jacksonville, IL Father- Robert Griffith and wife Ann of Elkhart, IN Sister- Elizabeth Griffith of Jacksonville, IL Sister- Michelle Griffith of Energy Sister- Bailey Griffith of South Bend, IN Brother- Devin Griffith of Valparaiso, IN Brother- Aaron Griffith of Energy Brother- Nathan Marshall of Jacksonville, IL The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until time of service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
